A history of Cutie Honey
The evolution of Cutie Honey
1973 - the original show! It lasted for half a year, produced 25 episodes and an audio drama until it got screwed by the network.
1994 - the ova. It lasted for over a year, but produced only 8 episodes and a drama cd due to executive meddling.
1997 - the tv series reimagining. Unlike the original, it was aimed at girls. It produced 39 episodes and a film.
2004 - the other ova, which was aimed at an adult audience. It produced only 3 episodes due to executive meddling.
2018 - the miniseries. Different from the original in that it is more faithful to the original manga source material. It produced 12 episodes.
