Deep in the jungle, here comes Mowgli

The jungle book’s Mowgli has various live action incarnations.

Infant and Toddler incarnations
Daniel and David Valdez as toddler Mowgli - the only known twins who played Mowgli onscreen, themselves barely toddlers when the Korda brothers filmed the first live action jungle book adaptation.
Kendrick Reyes as toddler Mowgli - possibly the only toddler Mowgli incarnation onscreen in the 21st century.
Josue Cerdas as toddler Mowgli - the only toddler incarnation of Mowgli in a tv show.

Kid incarnations
Sean Naegeli as young Mowgli - the first live action kid Mowgli incarnation onscreen.
Ryan Taylor as young Mowgli - this incarnation is that of a young newbie.
Yu Zheng Zhang as young Du Zhe Ming - a Taiwanese variant of kid Mowgli or his manga inspiration.
Yunhao Kou as young Mo Ge Li - a PRC version of kid Mowgli.

Preteen and Teen incarnations
Jamie Williams as Mowgli - this incarnation is that of a speechless fellow.
Neel Sethi as Mowgli - perhaps the most successful incarnation onscreen.
Brandon Baker as Mowgli - this incarnation is that of a playful teenager.
Rohan Chand as Mowgli - this rowdy incarnation is both a quadruped and a biped.
Sean Price McConnell as Mowgli - the only other incarnation to wear wrapped pants.
Sabu as Mowgli - known as both the first known incarnation of Mowgli onscreen, and the first one to wear wrapped pants.

Adult incarnations
Jason Scott Lee as Mowgli - one of the two incarnations to actually get married onscreen.
Derek Hsuan Jui Chang as Du Zhe Ming - a Taiwanese variant of adult Mowgli or his more direct manga inspiration.
Ray Tianyu Ma as Mo Ge Li - a PRC variant of adult Mowgli.

Disney’s Tarzan reboot: possibilities

Hello! The reboot of Disney’s Tarzan will be an expansive cyberpunk world in the future, since I’m adding various influences from afar.

Even more interestingly, the Parkers may be appearing in the rebooted 3D CGI Disney version, but this time they are startlingly becoming more distinct as well. There are three significant characters with the surname Parker alone in the heroic bloodshed saga; the orphaned Vera and her late parents.

One single thing that will be picked up from another adaptation and can be done very well, is that they’d rather be Irish like in the ‘so bad it’s good snooze fest’ of a 1981 film known as the third Tarzan, The Ape Man.

In order not to be confused with her inspiration, known as the literary Jane Porter, Disney’s older dated version of Jane, generally known to fans of all the older Disney works, may indeed be renamed as Vera Parker. Even when she does appear, she’ll be speaking genuine Hibernian English (rather than speaking British English like in the older Disney works) and still be pizazz. Also helping is that she’ll also be voiced by a hip Irish actress whom I love to dream about, Hazel Doupe, whose voice may fit her quite well. Her bra and loincloth will be coloured in a very dark greenish brown, mostly as a tribute to Maureen O’Sullivan’s impactful performance.

She has friends based on other versions of the literary Jane Porter. Her pen pals from Britain are based on Jane March and Sophie Simnett.

Mary Brooks is a character with the name of both her blonde live action and comic strip counterparts, but is based upon Bo Derek as Jane Parker. She is Eric’s rascally wife, who remains an uneasy ally with Tarzan and the gang.

Being Ian: the show that made my childhood possible

Being Ian, co-created by Ian James Corlett.

Its intro is an homage to Hollywood, and of course its monsters. It is also about Ian Kelley, part-Polish and part-Scottish Canadian wannabe filmmaker.

Tarzan Reboot: Humanoid Characters

The Disney’s Cyberpunk Tarzan reboot characters

Tarzan’s family
The main Tarzan - The main Tarzan is one of the Tarzans in this story. A decade after his mum survived a notorious plane crash, he saw his parents being murdered by the Dragonfoot Mangani. Later on, he was found by a clever skunk ape, who dumped him into being raised by various abandoned robots and wild beasts of the rainforest. Once his dishonourable foster discoverer would indeed die, he could’ve been trying to communicate with fellow humans, but they reacted in different ways (and some of the reactions made him feel pissed off and disillusioned more than once!).

The Wrightson family
Wesley Wrightson - Wesley was Peter’s father and the cafe manager husband of Mary Jane Wrightson.
Mary Jane Wrightson - Mary Jane was a comic book fan fashionista from Seattle city, who was stranded in the Mayombe rainforest following a horrific plane crash along with her husband and baby son.
The Gorilla Tarzan (aka Peter Wrightson) - Arriving into the jungle (via a plane crash) as a ten week old infant, Peter Wrightson lost his parents to poachers as a school kid and lived with gorillas until he got kicked over (and replaced as their transitionary leader) by Flynt. Despite being intelligent in his own right, he’s mostly the bruiser of Tarzan’s team.

The Parkers and the Shiels
James Parker - James Parker is a grouchy scientist in a loincloth who has long been living in the Mayombe jungle with his niece Vera Parker after her parents were killed by grass men.
Ray Parker -
Ashley Brennan Parker -
Vera Parker Shiels - Along with her parents and uncle (plus their family friends, baby Roland included), Vera Parker crash landed into the jungle when she was a toddler. After her parents and their friends passed away, she lived with James Parker in the jungle, watching over their other friend growing up to become a mighty fighter. Nonetheless, they all return temporarily to Ireland for its summer holidays.
Roland Shiels - A childhood friend of Vera Parker, whom James Parker raised from toddlerhood to adulthood after his parents were killed by poachers.

The Brookses
Eric Brooks - Eric Brooks is a mysterious villain working without friends to thwart the main Tarzan’s own heroic antics at the Barker Manufacturing Inc. headquarters.
Mary Brooks - Mary is an active villainess who frequently gets fawned over by various characters, ranging from the jungle’s resident Lost City Guardian to former members of the Jungle Mafia.
Meghan Brooks -

The Rosas Family
Gorlak (aka Bruno Rosas) - When he was an infant, Gorlak crashed into the Mayombe jungle along with his parents. They then died at the hands of loggers, and he was kidnapped by a bunch of chimps who mourned the death of an old friend. Later on, a hungry old Skunk Ape snatched him into her nest and raised him.

The Rosses
Wayne Ross - Trevor and Shelly Ross’ workaholic father, who’s been widowed since his older wife was bludgeoned in a badly run hospital when they were thirteen and seven.
Shelly Ross - Shelly Ross is one of Tarzan’s recurring friends.
Trevor Ross - Shelly’s streetwise younger brother.

The Holts
Hieronymus Holt -
Sarah Lyle Holt -
Lucas Holt -

The Eskers
Max Esker - Count Max Esker is a well intentioned mad scientist coming from medieval nobility, who happens to be Connie Beach’s unsuspecting father.
Lynn Beach Esker -
Connie Beach Esker - The daughter of Max Esker and an unsuspecting mechanic named Countess Lynn Beach.

The Hauser Family
Michael Hauser - Michael Hauser is the youngest and most science minded of the Hauser Brothers. Being a prominent tragic villain, he lost his own first dog to severe inbreeding issues and decided to replace her with another inbred dog whom he’d love to experiment. Despite this, he does love his dogs in a screwed up way.
Karl Hauser - Michael’s older brother.
Hans Hauser - Michael’s middle brother.

The Carne Family
Derrick Carne - Blonde, rascally mechanic.
Kathleen Carne - Derrick’s wife.
Nicole Carne - Derrick’s fiery, hot headed daughter.
Minnie Carne - Derrick’s feisty mother.

The Lancers
Thomas Lancer -
Lidia Lancer - Lidia Lancer became a mogul..

The El Masri clan
Saha El Masri -
